A really cool look at a old Town and a great way to kill an hour or two doing a little tourist shopping and enjoying the old Town feel. The restaurants and ice cream shops make for an enjoyable evening as well
Old sugar mill, park and great food trucks
Fun quaint old town Kauai!
Nice little shopping area with great coffee and dole whip
It was a real unexpected pleasure to visit the stores in old Koloa Town.
Love the feel of this area. Several unique shops. Employees were super nice and helpful every time we visited.
Quaint little boardwalk shops.
Fun little historic town for shopping and getting the feel for local community snd its history.
Post office big save bank what else do you need ?
When visiting on our honeymoon we kept finding ourselves coming back here to the general store and to the pizza place down the way. They also have an ice cream stand within walking distance with yummy coffee and iced treats. Great stop in Kauai.
Great place, will go again
It's very easy to drive past Old Koloa Town but it is well worth stopping for a visit. There are a number of cute shops and good history about the area. There is a free little museum tucked away behind the spot where the bar or shop is. A lot of the buildings in the area are labeled with what their function use to be back in the day. Great spot to wonder around for a while and do something different than the beach.
Shirts are much nicer than Coconut Market. More Japanese style and sizes.
Neat little town worth a visit
Spicey meatballs with zucchini noodles and veggies. Very very good
We had a blast here. We have been going back for a couple years. They have some interesting stuff. It is definitely a place to stop and check out. We always find something to buy. The down fall is not a lot of Options for restrooms.
Great little place to stop over and checkout the cool little shops it has to offer. There is also a little park that has some cool photos ops.We enjoyed a cup of coffee and some shave ice.
Nice place old town historic marketplace have many's different items for shopping
So quaint and old Hawaii... love this place
Historic, with amazing views of Kahili mountain range and Ha'upu mountain range. A variety of shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Site to the first sugar plantation in the state where you can feast on numerous food trucks.
Great place to stop for souvenirs and food. Lots of shops to choose from in a very unique old town setting with lots of places to read about it's history.
So many different options for buying whatever it is you want.
Nice little historic town with lots of little shops & several places to get a variety of food. Also some unique tropical flowering plants.
old koloa town is full of life. small shopping strips with a variety of places to eat and be merry. local folks and tourist make up the everyday hustle and bustle of the small quaint town. easy walking to everything in town. they have a local food market and gas station to fill your immediate needs.
Koloa town is where I live.a wonderful old Kauai town with little shops and the best doctor in the world . Much of koloa town is still closed due to the pandemic
Definitely visit the food trucks, especially D Greens BBQ!
A lot of great little shops, places to eat
Verry well maintaind, nice shops and food.
Cute little village on the south side of the island. Quaint but still had a lot to offer. Check out Koloa Fish Market while your here. Their Poké and Laulau is outstanding.
Nice little historic town with many shops.
Interesting small town that you can walk around to have fun.
Lots of local shops. If you like to shop, you'll enjoy these shops! Several blocks of everything from food to clothing to artwork.
Old Koloa Town is a delightful place for shopping, dining, & simple sightseeing. The only negative is that the busy main downtown intersection doesn't have a traffic light, which it badly needs.
Lovely little village with a couple of supermarkets and plenty of food options.
Nice little shopping square. Wish there was more shops and options, but the area is very pretty. Definitely have to check out the soap shop!
The Vibe is Amazing. My family and friends love the Ice Cream Shop !! I love Craving Thai.Pizza options dine in or take out bery good !!! Lots of shops some tucked away give yourself time to explore. Alway a Hit Location for our Guests.
Very nice place to visit with a lot of history
Nice town. Restaurants, shop stores, food trucks. Garden Island Grill with live music, good food.
Such a lovely, quaint little town. Great food, a grocery store and guaranteed to find all your souvenirs and great island memorabilia!! Don't miss your opportunity to stop, eat and shop here!!
Great little hometown feel. Lots of shopping and parking all around. Great way to spend an hour or two.
It's great for shopping and eating. The little museum is pretty cute. Hadn't been there before...
Great place! Good pizza, shave ice, and cute shops.
This was by far our favorite part of the island. There was local shopping, good restaurants, ice cream and shave ice treats. We would have rented a house or condo here if we had knew all that was available here.
This place is awesome!! Careful where ya eat. One place is $40 bucks a plate; another is $8. Not a big deal with a couple; however we are a family of 6.
We always seem to leave this place with some neat souveneirs and this visit was no exception. Try all the shops - each has a distinct personality.
Great town very small but were all like family
Cool little town a short drive from the resorts at Poipu. Check out the lunch counter on the side of Sueoka Market. Great free range burgers!
This is a quaint little town with lots of little stores and small activities to do. There's a big monument for parking is hard, and there's also a historic building that you can go to. Lots of geckos and lizards and, of course, chickens to see. All the shop owners are very nice and helpful. Lots of places to get souvenirs.
Not much to see of an old town, but this area is mostly small tourist shops and eateries. If you're looking for something to eat or a gift, this place has multiple stores you should go see. The old town area is a small walk in near the huge monkey pod tree. The whole area makes a "U" shape so don't miss the two side areas and just see the spots along the main road. Parking available along the road and in a few lots in both ends. If you look around more there are also old churches in town.
Very hard to find parking, nice shops
